District 7475 District Grant Funds are available to eligible clubs for projects that will be conducted during the Rotary Year 2026-2027. District Grants are intended to support impactful projects that meet an identified need in a community or local area. The need must fall within Rotary’s Seven Areas of focus, and the project must involve the active participation of Rotarians.
The District Grant program is part of The Rotary Foundation (TRF). Funds for Districts Grants are provided by TRF and managed and distributed to our clubs by the District. The specific amount available each year is based on how much our members and clubs contributed to the Rotary Annual Fund three years prior. Increased donations to the Annual Fund increase the amount available for Grants. This year our District is providing additional support for District Grants using money from our District Contingency Fund as part of our continued effort to return the surplus back to our clubs.
District Grant applications are entered in the Grants Module in the Members Area accessible using your district user name and password. All District Grant applications will be reviewed by our District's Grants team in accordance with TRF guidelines. The applications are then sent to TRF for final review and approval. Only after TRF approval, the approved funds may be spent on Grant projects. Not all Grant applications are approved, and the final approval amount may not be what was requested.

Accessing the Grants Module
All district grant activities and instructions are in the ClubRunner Grants module. Instructions for accessing the Grants module are as follows:
Go to the District 7475 website https://members.njrotary.org/
Click on “Member Login” on the upper right corner of the screen to access the district members’ Home page.
Enter Login name and password (you may be sent a login verification code to your email address). If you do not have a login yet, click on the “New Users” link to obtain a password.
Click “Member Area” in the upper right-hand corner.
Click “Grants” in the horizontal menu bar at top of the page.
Click “Submit a Grant Request” to enter your application.
Global Grants
Rotary Global Grants are large-scale international activities, funded through partnerships between Rotary clubs in at least two different countries. The Host partner is from the country where the project will be managed.
The project must aim to achieve sustainable, measurable outcomes in one or more of Rotary's Areas of Focus.These grants can support various initiatives, including humanitarian projects, scholarships for graduate studies, and vocational training teams. To be eligible, a project must align with one of Rotary's Areas of Focus, address real community needs, and have a minimum budget of $30,000.
Prior to starting an application, clubs are urged to contact our District Rotary Foundation Chair to ensure the club and the application will be able to meet TRF's strict requirements for Global Grants. Application for Global Grants are submitted on the Rotary International website.
Rotary Global Grant application requirements brief overview
- The club must have an international partner club.
- The club must be certified by the District and Rotary Foundation. Certification involves training and implementation of the proper structure to manage the Grant activities.
- The club must complete TRF Club Qualification MOU
- The project must be international, sustainable, and include plans for long-term success.
- It must include measurable goals and demonstrate how those goals will be achieved.
- The project must align with one of Rotary's seven Areas of Focus.
- It must address real community needs, as identified by the benefiting community.
- The application must involve active participation from both Rotarians and community members.
- The project must have a minimum budget of $30,000.
