Welcome

Last Saturday, nearly 140 Rotarians met, and together experienced a day of fellowship, learning, exchanging ideas and being inspired. Our opening keynote speaker, Carl Gould enlightened us to the art of making a good first impression, raising awareness on what matters most is our body language, and we learned a few tips on how to "connect".  This was a perfect energizing start to our Connect For Good Summit.

Zone 32 RMC Cindie Kish presented our Rotary Action Plan, tying it to club success and shared some tips for strategic planning for club success. The breakouts that followed were an opportunity for teams to share ideas and collaborate on problem solving.

The afternoon highlights included the Shark Tank Rotary Style - that was held this year for the first time ever in D7475. We have heard nothing but raving reviews about the Shark Tank, specifically for the collaboration and information exchange that it allows. We encourage clubs to review the list of all twelve project submissions we had received. Your club may find an idea worth implementing. Maybe you can collaborate with another club for the project. The list of projects can be found on the "Shark Tank Projects 2026" title on the left side of this page. And, a hearty congratulations to our three finalists !

The Fireside chat, Foundation and Public Image Awards were additional opportunities for communication and celebration of club successes this year. As a final word, closing remarks from our DG Bob Law with a few inspiring messages to take home, the success of this year being focused on membership and the need to continue on that path, and with some food for thought.

None of this would have been possible with the help and collaboration of a large team of volunteers, who all took on different responsibilities, and executed it all with such perfection. A list of all our volunteers is included below.
