District 7475 – Learning
It is that time of the year, when the incoming club leaders for Rotary year 2025-2026 are actively preparing to lead their clubs. This month, our focus is on the 2025-2026 club leadership learning.
Our district learning team is happy to report that we have already begun our learning sessions for club presidents-elect.
Learning Milestones for presidents-elect (either first-time or returning):
Both first time and returning presidents, have at this point:
- Attended one of the two information sessions held just for you – to hear about very helpful learning plans and upcoming learning seminars offered by our district specifically for presidents elect preparing to lead their clubs in 2025-2026. The first as in-person on January 30th and the second was a virtual repeat session on February 3rd.
- Registered for all upcoming virtual Pre-PELS sessions
- Registered for the upcoming President-elect Learning Seminar (PELs) on March 20th -22nd, 2025.
PELS participation for all 3 days is required for all presidents-elect in the district.
- Planning to take self-paced learning courses for presidents-elect ( to be completed prior to PELS), These learning courses for every Rotarian are at The Rotary Learning Center.
- For first-time Presidents-elect: Club President Basics (10 courses, 4 hours and 15 minutes)
- For returning Presidents-elect: Club President Basics (above) and/or Club President Intermediate (9 courses, 4 hours and 15 minutes)
If you need more information on any of the above, we have created a special resources page for you on our district website, with information about your recommended learning plans, upcoming pre-PELS and PELS registration. You can access the page at – PE RESOURCES PAGE-2025
In case you missed - A little about the President-elect Information sharing sessions that were held:
On January 30th, our district learning team held an in-person session to review learning plans and upcoming learning seminars for presidents elect. It was well attended by about 35 presidents-elect.
To include those who could not make it in-person, a repeat session was held virtually on zoom, February 3rd. It was also well attended by about 30 presidents-elect.
The highlight of both sessions was the meaningful exchange of information and ideas amongst the presidents-elect. A huge shout-out to currently active club presidents who joined us to share their experience and inspire the incoming team of leaders – Ravi Anna, Morristown, Debbie Shell, Philipsburg, Cindy Wildermuth from Washington – Thank you for being the champions !
